Canon's 24-105mm f/4L IS USM: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/397662-USA/Canon_0344B002AA_24_105mm_f_4L_IS_USM.html Almost new, hardly used, for $900 from a guy on Craigslist. I'm pretty much living on bread and water for the rest of the semester but it's TOTALLY WORTH IT. The autofocus on this lens can actually keep up with moving objects, so now my photos are actually IN FOCUS! =D And I can finally move CLOSE to subjects instead of having to stay at least 4 feet away all the time! =D Oh, oh, and talk about quality!
